What is the most likely diagnosis in a 50 years old female, with history of treated breast CA?
- High-grade astrocytoma
- Ependymoma
- Hemangioblastoma
- Metastasis
- Choroid plexus tumor
Answer
Metastasis is correct. High-grade astrocytoma is a close differential but the history was against it. Ependymoma & choroid plexus tumors are intraventricular & occur at a younger age. Hemangioblastoma has a cystic component & an enhancing nodule.
