Dr. Raheel Ahmed M.D., PhD. is the Director of Pediatric Surgical Epilepsy and a pediatric neurosurgeon at the American Family Children’s Hospital, Wisconsin. After graduating from the Aga Khan University Medical College, he did his neurosurgery residency at the University of Iowa, followed by fellowship training at the St. Radboud University Nijmegen, the Netherlands. He then did a Pediatric Neurosurgery fellowship at the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto. He specializes in pediatric and congenital neurosurgery, pediatric epilepsy, brain tumors, craniofacial disorders, Chiari malformations, and craniocervical anomalies, with his research focusing on the surgical management of epilepsy and pediatric congenital spinal disorders.
