Dr. Ali Rae is a fifth-year resident in neurological surgery at Oregon Health & Science University who is doing his research fellowship in the Program for Global Surgery and Social Change. He earned his medical degree from Brown University and his Masters in Public Health from Columbia University with a focus on health policy and big data. He was born in Pakistan and raised in Atlanta, Georgia. His areas of interest include global neurosurgery, econometrics, and policy & advocacy for global surgical infrastructure development.
