Dr. Madhani is originally from Pakistan where he was awarded his medical degree from the Aga Khan University (AKU) Medical College. Following his graduation, Dr. Madhani was employed to develop the country’s first sector agnostic innovation and incubation hub at AKU, named Critical Creative Innovative Thinking Forum. Advancing his interest in neurosurgical innovation and technology development, Dr. Madhani then moved to the US and joined the Transcatheter Neurosurgical Technologies Lab under the mentorship of Dr. Luis Savastano. Here, Dr. Madhani worked on progressing the lab’s work in creating new standards of care for neurosurgical diseases through creative disruption and state-of-the-art technology development. Currently, Dr. Madhani is a PGY1 in the Department of Neurological Surgery at Corewell Health/Michigan State University.
