On November 3, 2025, NSIG hosted an engaging and highly informative session titled Biostatistics Made Ridiculously Simple, led by Dr. Ali Jawaid (MD, PhD), Principal Research Investigator at the Lukasiewicz-PORT Polish Center for Technology Development. Dr. Jawaid, whose groundbreaking work in neuroepigenetics, childhood trauma, and neurodegenerative disorders has been featured in top journals including Nature Neuroscience, Neuron, and EMBO Journal, delivered a session that blended scientific depth with exceptional clarity.
Participants gained a stronger, more intuitive understanding of biostatistical concepts, learning how to interpret data meaningfully rather than rely on rote memorization of formulas. The session drew an enthusiastic response and was appreciated by attendees from MBBS, FAS, SONAM, and NSIG’s ambassador cohort.
