Ali, Mumtaz

Prof. Mumtaz Ali is a Professor of Neurosurgery with over 18 years of experience, and the Head of the Department of Neurosurgery at Lady Reading Hospital, Peshawar. He holds an FCPS in neurosurgery from the College of Physicians and Surgeons, Pakistan, as well as the European Spine Course Diploma (ESCD) from France. Widely recognized for being the first neurosurgeon to treat the Nobel Prize winner, Malala Yousufzai, when she was shot in the head in 2012, Dr. Ali is an expert in treating conditions pertaining to neurosurgical oncology and spine.
