Neuroscience Interest Group – NSIG

NSIG (Neuroscience Interest Group) is a student-founded society at Aga Khan University, Karachi, Pakistan, under the patronage of Dr. Syed Ather Enam. Our mission is to unite students interested in neuroscience, spanning fields such as neurosurgery and neurology, basic neurosciences, and more. NSIG has grown to include over 100 ambassadors from 30 medical schools across Pakistan, and we are expanding our reach internationally.

We aim to bridge the gap in neuroscience education for students from diverse backgrounds. By fostering an inclusive environment, we engage undergraduate students in advancing neuroscience in Pakistan, helping them build the skills, networks, and opportunities needed to make meaningful contributions. Our initiatives include academic programs, alumni events, research opportunities, conferences, and much more.
