Ali Haider is a senior Consultant and Assistant Professor in the Department of Neurosurgery at the Lady Reading Hospital MTI, Peshawar. He did his MBBS at Ayub Medical College, and residency and Ph.D. in neurosurgery from A.L. Polenov Russian Neurosurgical Research Institute Saint Petersburg, Russia.
Dr. Haider has done his fellowship in neurovascular treatment from the North-western University Chicago, United States of America, a Fellowship in Brain Tumour surgery from Germany, and a Fellowship in Micro-Neurosurgery from Japan. Dr. Haider is a strong advocate for improving public access to healthcare and completed his MPH from Khyber Medical University. He was one of the first experts in aneurysm surgery in the province of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa and is also an avid researcher in the field with presentations at several local and international conferences.
