Khalid, Shah

Dr. Shah Khalid, MBBS (Gold Medalist), FCPS (Neurosurgery), CHPE (BMU), completed a Fellowship in Surgical Neuro-Oncology at Aga Khan University Hospital, Karachi. He is an Ex-Instructor (Registrar) in the Department of Neurological Surgery at Aga Khan University Hospital, Karachi, and currently serves as a Consultant Neurosurgeon at Benazir Bhutto Shaheed Teaching Hospital, Abbottabad. He is a pioneer of Awake Brain Surgery in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and the founder of the Neurosurgical Facility at BBST Hospital (DHQ), Abbottabad. He is also a Member of the Editorial Board of Surgical Neurology International, USA, and has authored/co-authored more than 35 peer-reviewed original research articles. In recognition of his outstanding contributions to neurosurgery, medical education, research, and healthcare services, he has been nominated by the Government of Pakistan for one of the country’s highest civil awards, the Sitara-e-Imtiaz.
