Prof. Mohammad Arif Malik is the Head of the Department of Neurosurgery at the Rawalpindi Medical College. He graduated from King Edward Medical College Lahore in 1980. He trained as a Neurosurgeon at Lahore General Hospital, Lahore, and completed his FCPS in Neurosurgery in 1988. He served as a faculty member at King Edward Medical College, Lahore, and Rawalpindi Medical College, Rawalpindi, until his retirement as a Professor of Neurosurgery in 2015. He is a Member Faculty of Neurosurgery College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan and an examiner of FCPS and MS exams in Neurosurgery since 1998. He has published many research papers in scientific journals and presented countlessly at neurosurgical conferences in Pakistan and abroad.
